Couples coaching is not just for couples in crisis.

It is a powerful tool for any couple wanting to build a stronger, more intentional relationship - whether you are newly together, newlyweds, navigating a significant life transition, or in a long-standing relationship ready for a new chapter.

I welcome all relationship structures, with or without children, and all identities, including LGBTQIA+ partners.

What We Work On

Many couples seek support when they notice recurring patterns that feel hard to break.

Sessions are grounded in the Gottman Method - one of the most extensively researched approaches to couples therapy - and informed by specialist training in relational trauma and affairs.

Common Harmful Patterns:

  • Frequent conflict and arguments going in circles without resolution

  • Poor communication - feeling unheard, misunderstood, or unable to express what matters

  • Emotional distance or disconnection

  • Differences in emotional or cognitive needs

A key part of this is repairing and deepening friendship - because a strong friendship between partners is one of the most reliable foundations for a lasting relationship.

While some conflicts may find resolution, the primary goal is not to fix - it is to facilitate open dialogue, healthy communication, and a shared understanding that allows you both to move forward.

🔬 Exploring the Layers of Your Relationship

Before our first joint session, and after meeting with each of you individually, both partners complete the Gottman Relationship Checkup™ - an in-depth assessment developed by The Gottman Institute, one of the world's leading centres for relationship science.

Each partner completes it independently and confidentially. The questionnaire takes up to one hour to complete - you can start, pause, and resume at any time. It is straightforward, user-friendly, and in multiple-choice format. It covers five key areas of your connection, including communication, conflict patterns, trust, intimacy, and shared meaning - providing a detailed, objective picture of where you are as a couple before we sit down together.

We arrive knowing what matters most to each of you, what is working, and where the real opportunities for growth lie. Our work begins with clarity and intention.

A free reassessment is included towards the end of your programme.

Progress becomes visible and measurable - helping you both recognise and celebrate the changes you have made together.

🔹 If You Are in a Neurodiverse Relationship

➤    When one or both partners are neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism Spectrum, or other cognitive differences), relationship dynamics can feel more complex.

➤    What may appear as disinterest, emotional distance, or criticism is often a difference in processing, communication style, or sensory needs.

➤    I help couples understand these differences and work with them rather than against each other.

 

➤    Together, we design strategies that respect each partner's unique cognitive and emotional profile while fostering intimacy, understanding, and emotional safety.

🌱 Your Journey With Coaching

After the Checkup questionnaire, you can expect a structured blend of individual and joint sessions. I meet with each of you separately to gain a full picture of your individual experience and dynamic, and together to work on communication, connection, and shared goals.

Coaching is not a quick fix - it is a structured process to develop lasting insight, communication skills, and emotional resilience.

The goal of couples coaching is to make itself unnecessary, not to create dependency. As your relationship strengthens, I will gradually begin phasing out sessions - meeting less frequently to give you space to build confidence in your new skills and ensure you are equipped to maintain your progress independently.

Together, we:

  • Develop healthier, more open communication

  • Build conflict management skills and strategies for repair

  • Create a shared operating system - ways of relating that work for both of you

For those wishing to continue after completing their programme - whether to deepen the work, maintain momentum, or navigate a new chapter together - both individual and joint continuation programmes are available.

This can be discussed during your Consistency Call.
